  • Note: Lynn is currently unavailable for comment (something about the Witness Protection Program), so on his behalf, we’ll list what little is known about him.
  • Lynn’s nickname is “HoChee Lynn.”
  • HoChee plays bass guitar with The Rockets. He personally carved his bass from a solid piece of wood found on Mount Ararat.
  • HoChee’s favorite musicians are: Paul McCartney, James Jamerson, Chuck Rainey, Larry Graham, Bill Black, Duck Dunn, Jaco Pastorius, John Entwistle, Bill Wyman, Tommy Cogbill, Jack Bruce, Bootsy Collins, Tony Levin, Sting, Francis Rocco Prestia, Verdine White, Willie Dixon, Louis Johnson, Noel Redding, Willie Weeks, Michael Henderson, Flea, Leland Sklar, Billy Nelson, John McVie, Robert “Kool” Bell, Rick Danko, “Sweet Charles” Sherrell, John Paul Jones, Stuart Hamm, “Ready” Freddy Washington, Jimmy Haslip, Marcus Miller, Nathan East, Paul Goddard, Phil Lesh, Richard Davis, Jack Casady, Bernard Edwards, Berry Oakley, and Les Claypool.
  • HoChee’s first professional gig was actually in utero. His ultrasound had such a funky beat that the attending nurse offered his Mom $10 for a tape of it.
  • HoChee has performed with a number of bands prior to his stint with The Rockets, including "Circuits Ole", "The Wren Tin Ten", and "Ned and the Meaty Urologists." In fact, one of his groups, "The Sponge Bunnies," was destined for a promising recording career when Dick Clark featured them on "American Bandstand" in 1981, but their album was inadvertently pressed at 78 rpm instead of 33. As a result, only 4 copies were sold, including one on eBay last year for $1.25. This would have been a nice return for Lynn, but shipping costs of $1.15 reduced his windfall profit.
  • 2006 was a banner year for Lynn, marrying his bride Stacy and being presented with his son, Mason (whose freakishly long fingers foretell a future in music). It was also the first year he received a tax refund check from Uncle Sam.
  • In “real life,” Lynn is a stained glass artist, having worked in the great cathedrals of Europe, including the Vatican. He told us that, so it must be true. (Anyone wanna buy a window?)
  • Ho’s favorite foods are (reportedly): Red Hot Chili Peppers, Meat Loaf, Humble Pie, Moby Grape, Salt ‘N Pepa, Wild Cherry, and Smashing Pumpkins.
  • Something most people don’t know about HoChee Lynn: He was born in Butcher Hollow, KY, in 1935, and his biggest hit album was “Coal Miner’s Daughter.” In 1990, a movie based on his life starred Sissy Spacek, who delivered an Oscar-winning performance...wait a minute...that’s LORETTA Lynn, not HoChee Lynn. Never mind.
  • The most interesting people HoChee has met include Mother Theresa, Allen Ginsberg, and Homer Crutching, the guy who paints the yellow lines down the middle of JFK Blvd. in North Little Rock.
  • HoChee Lynn’s favorite color is: Clear.
  • His favorite comedians are Henry Kissinger and Strom Thurmond.
