- My nickname is “Chuck.”
- I played drums with The Rockets from 1995 to 2007. I also play guitar.
- My current instrument setup includes Pearl drums and Zildjian cymbals. My guitar is a Taylor.
- My favorite three musical artists are: The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, and Eric Clapton.
- Like most guys from my generation (I was born in 1953), my life was altered when I saw The Beatles on Ed Sullivan in 1964. My older brother (a guitarist) and I played in several bands throughout high school and college.
- Growing up, my brother and I helped Dad farm every summer daylight to dark I owe my life to whoever invented the transistor radio. We moved to Bono, Arkansas (near Jonesboro) after I graduated from high school. I'm an ASU graduate majored in commercial art. My parents still live in Bono. A couple of years ago, my mother told me she and Dad would "go for a drive" when I practiced drums in my bedroom in Manila they NEVER complained. What goes around comes around two of my three sons are drummers.
- In “real life,” I’m VP of Marketing Services & Creative Director at Cranford Johnson Robinson Woods in Little Rock.
- My favorite food is steak. My favorite beverage is Coca-Cola.
- Something most people don’t know about me: I’m a country music fan.
- The most interesting person I have met: Jim “Buck” Johnson.
- I didn’t play on stage with him, but I met Steve Cropper at a recording session in Memphis in the early 70s.
- My favorite color is Blue.
- My favorite comedian is Richard Pryor.
- Wildcard: songwriting and movie scores fascinate me.
